Clay & Cows Workshop at Ellenesse Acres

Join us for a unique and hands-on creative experience at Ellenesse Acres in Birdwood! This two hour immersive hand-building clay workshop combines the therapeutic joy of crafting with a delightful meet and greet with three beautiful Highland cows—Emma, Pippa, Nessi & Emma's brand new calf.

Workshop Highlights:

• Creative Clay Session: Unwind with our guided hand-building clay workshop. Whether you're a seasoned sculptor or a curious beginner, you'll receive all the tools, materials, and guidance needed to craft your own clay masterpiece. We’ll provide everything required, including firing and glazing, so you can focus on having fun and exploring your creativity. You'll have the freedom to make whatever you like in this workshop so feel free to bring along some inspo or we can talk through your ideas on the day. 

• Highland Cow Meet & Greet: After your clay workshop, enjoy feeding and interacting with Ellenesse Acres Highland cows. Emma, Pippa, Nessi & Ellenesse's newborn calf. Take some time to connect with these gorgeous girls and learn a bit about them and their unique breed with Sophie- owner of the farm & avid animal lover. 

• Serene Outdoor Setting: The workshop will be hosted outdoors on our picturesque property at Ellenesse Acres, providing a serene and inspiring backdrop to create, slow down & connect. 
  
  

• BYO Picnic: Bring along some snacks and drinks (no alcohol please) to enjoy during your workshop. We are out in the pastures so bring a cooler! 

Event Details:

• Date & Time: 22nd/23rd of March 2025 9:30am-11:30am OR 1pm-3pm
• Location: Ellenesse Acres, Birdwood
• Inclusions: All clay tools and materials, firing of your creations, and a delightful encounter with our Highland cows. 
• Please note: this is an outdoor event- come ready to be outside for 2 hours. Wear enclosed shoes, bring your emotional support water bottle and wear something you don’t mind getting dirty.  
  We will be interacting with & feeding animals from behind a fence for your safety and the animals comfort & safety. 
  This is an adult only event- strictly 18+.
  Sadly no wheelchair access on site.
  Your ticket to this event is non-refundable and we are not able to reschedule you however if you can’t make it, you’re welcome to pass your ticket on to someone else.
