Wheel Throwing Workshop

A two hour, small group wheel throwing class where you'll be given the freedom to create whatever you wish. Bring along some inspo, or we can discuss your ideas before we get going.

This is a beginner friendly class which will introduce to you the skills and techniques required to throw clay on a potter's wheel. We will guide your through designing your idea, preparing the clay, centring and shaping the clay on the wheel.

All materials will be provided, along with a bisque firing for two pieces per person. 

After your class, your pieces will be fired and you'll be able to pick them up from the studio a month after the class- they can also be posted at an additional cost. 

We are able to glaze fire your piece for $10 per piece OR you can book into a glazing workshop to add finishing touches to your own piece. You are also welcome to take home your bisque fired pieces- they're just like a terracotta pot- porous and perfect for plant pots, slow waterers or essential oil diffusers.
